Dr. Stein grew up in Long Island, New York. She graduated with her BS in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her medical degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology residency at UNC, serving as Chief Resident that final year. She joined private practice in Durham in 2004.

She values the relationships she has formed with so many patients and their families over the years.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active.
